Common failure analysis of various holes on the surface of construction machinery
(1) oil tank cover vent this hole is used to adjust the air pressure to ensure the balance of air pressure inside and outside the oil tank. If this hole is blocked, a vacuum will be formed in the oil tank, resulting in insufficient oil suction of the fuel transfer pump, making it difficult for the engine to start or power reduction
(2) the crankcase oil filler hole forms an oil film cover vent hole in the curved annular gap of mutual movement. This hole is used to eliminate the exhaust gas channeling into the crankcase and plays a role of excellent ultraviolet protection and heat dissipation. If it is seriously blocked, it will cause the crankcase pressure and temperature to be too high, the oil will leak from the oil pan gasket or filler, and the oil will be diluted and oxidized
(3) the vent hole on the transmission is used to adjust the air pressure to prevent the internal pressure and temperature of the transmission from being too high. If the hole is blocked, it will cause the working temperature of the transmission to rise, the gas will expand, and the internal pressure will be too high, which is easy to cause oil leakage of the transmission
(4) the air vent on the drive axle package is used to adjust the air pressure in the package. If the air vent is blocked, the air pressure in the body will rise, and the lubricating oil will leak from the main reducer, halfshaft oil seal, gasket, etc., resulting in gear lubrication oil shortage and gear wear
(5) the air vent of the battery filler cap is used to regulate the air pressure inside the battery. During the working process of the battery, the internal pressure and temperature will rise. If the hole is blocked, the charging and discharging efficiency of the battery will be affected, and even the battery will explode
(6) the main function of the cooling hole of the transmission box of the hydraulic pump is to quickly dissipate the heat generated in the working process, so as to ensure that the temperature of the transmission box will not rise too fast. If this hole is blocked, it will cause the pump transmission box to overheat, speed up the deterioration of the oil, and affect the normal operation of the five oil supply components of the transmission box
(7) the inspection hole of the torque converter housing is used to remove the heat generated during the operation of the torque converter, and it can also be used to observe the sealing condition of the oil seal in the torque converter. If the oil overflows from this hole, it means that the oil seal is not tight, causing oil leakage. If this hole is blocked, it will cause overheating of the torque converter
(8) the drain hole on one side of the engine block is used to drain the cooling water in the cylinder block. If it is blocked, the cooling water in the cylinder body will not be discharged, and it is often easy to cause the body to freeze and crack in winter
(9) the inspection hole and drain hole of the water pump shell are used to monitor the working condition of the water seal between the impeller and the shell; The drain hole is used to drain the water trapped in the housing when the water pump stops working. If it is blocked, the water will not be discharged and enter the bearing seat, thus accelerating the damage of the bearing. In addition, if the drainage is not clean in winter, the water pump may be frozen
(10) the drain hole of the oil cooler is used to drain the water in the cooler housing. Due to the low position of this hole, it is easier to be ignored. If it is blocked, it is easy to cause the oil cooler shell to freeze crack
(11) the small hole of the pump body under the high-pressure pump is used to determine the oil level height of the pump body oil to ensure that 1/2 of the bearing is soaked in the oil. When it uses the high-pressure pump under arthroscopy in the form of liquid, the diesel oil leaks into the oil chamber at the bottom of the high-pressure pump. At this time, the viscosity of the oil changes, the oil level rises, and the oil above the elevation oil level will be discharged from this hole. If this hole is blocked, the lubrication of the pump bearing will be damaged, and the wear will be intensified, causing early damage to the high-pressure pump. If this hole discharges too much oil and has diesel smell, it indicates that the plunger coupling of the high-pressure pump is excessively worn
(12) the exhaust hole of the dust removal cover of the air filter is mainly used to remove dust in the air. If it is blocked, the dust in the air cannot be removed in time, which will affect the filtering effect, increase the air intake resistance, and the engine will reduce power due to the reduction of air intake
